Chimera is a project that examines the points of contact between fine art, subculture and contemporary urban cultures. We follow an interdisciplinary approach and operate in different, crossfertilizing fields.
GALLERY
As an art incubator, we aim to support artists’ visibility and network on an international level with a wide range of opportunities to show, collaborate and sell their works.
Chimera’s exhibition program has been set up to support truly international exchange. The annual program consists of two interrelated sections of exhibitions: one section we realize in our own gallery space in Budapest and the other abroad through various projects.
We are here to bring you closer to art and it’s protagonists! Whether you are an artists, creative professional, a potential supporter, customer or just interested in Chimera-Project in general please do not hesitate to contact us.

PLATFORM
As a platform we enable encounters throughout borders. We organize art projects and workshops to maintain sustainable artist cooperations. To gain attention for powerful Hungarian visual arts, we send our artists on tour. For a mutual exchange, based on our residency project, we also also invite artists and collectives from abroad.
Moreover we engage the broader community of art lovers, collectors and cultural institutions to find and meet the arts they are passionate about. Through art fairs, our regular art show-rooms and our constantly updated virtual display, we bring and sell art to a wide audience.

AGENCY
As an independent, but essential part of our concept, we act as an agency for creative professionals. Spending time with fine art made us really choosy… Therefore our creative agency is based on «signature piece portfolios». «Signature piece» means that our whole portfolio only consists of designers, who have a highly original approach towards their professional field: They provide illustration, graphic-design, web-design and typography – based on their own particular style; a personal signature rooted in experience, curiosity and commitment.
As an agency we deliver to clients creative input for their on- and offline appearances, events and office environments.
